Attorney
As a Social Security Disability Attorney I take Social Security cases in Tennessee, Kentucky and throughout the South East United States. I am a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives, and I have helped many people obtain their disability benefits. I have represented people throughout the State of Tennessee and the South East United States, from the small towns to the large cities. I represent people, and I do not represent corporations or the government, nor have I ever worked for the government. I have always dedicated myself to being an attorney that represents people, and fights for their benefits. I am licensed by the State of Tennessee to practice law, and I am permitted and registered to practice in front of the Social Security Disability courts.
As a graduate of Mississippi College, The School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, I began my practice as a third year law student. Nearly a decade later I have continued to represent people. My focus has always been on representing people, and for nearly a decade now I have represented disability clients.
My experiences in representing people has led me to many jury trials in and out of the State of Tennessee, a speaking invitation to address the first year law students at Harvard University School of Law, Widener School of Law, and be a Harvard Ames Moot Court Judge, and most importantly representing disability clients throughout the State of Tennessee and the South East. All of these things have prepared me to represent you throughout your disability claim.
Some people will ask, “What do you do as a disability attorney”? To answer that I have set out below some of the things I do when I represent your claim to Social Security:
- Come to your home, if you can’t come to us, I travel to visit clients, in state and out of state
- Obtain your medical records to assist in your disability claim
- Researching the correct listing that the client might fall under for disability, (as there are many)
- Make sure all the Social Security Disability documents are filed, (as there are important deadlines)
- Write a pre-trial brief before your hearing to explain to the judge in a concise manner your case
- Review your alleged onset date, sometimes the wrong onset date might be fatal to your claim
- Consult with a Registered Nurse or Doctor for review of your medical conditions
- Consult with you, before you fill out any documents during your appeal process, and or hearing request
- Review mental health notes with a social worker
- Explain all the appeals and hearings involved in Social Security Disability
- See if you fall into one of the grids for disability that the government has established
Most importantly I fight for your disability benefits that you have been denied, I fight for your money, I work with you from the appeals all the way through your hearing, you will be represented by me, not by an associate and you will always speak to me about your disability claim.
I would be pleased to hear from you and review your claim at no cost to you, or obligation. Please feel free to phone us Monday through Saturday at toll free 1 (877) 271-2633.
